Mission
Serve as
the principal Marine Corps point of contact for the Corps of Foreign
Military Attachés assigned to embassies in Washington, DC. for requests
for information, visits to Marine Corps commands and installations, and
support to foreign visits. Enhance military-to-military relationships
via hosted events such as parades, balls, and tours of Marine Corps
facilities. Ensure information released conforms with US foreign
disclosure regulations.
Function
·
Host a Sunset Parade, a pre-Birthday Ball reception, several CAPEX
visits, and other events as requested by the Commandant or Director of
Intelligence
·
Respond to foreign attaché inquiries for Marine Corps information on doctrine, tactics,
training, and equipment
·
Track
and support Foreign Visit Requests (FVRs)
·
Process and approve foreign disclosure requests for release.
